WE DIDN'T FOLLOW THE MOVEMENT. WE STARTED IT.
Born on the Southern California coast in 1996 — before the wellness boom, before açaí went mainstream, before healthy fast food was a category. Thirty years later, the trend-chasers have come and gone. Robeks is still here, because we were never chasing anything.
30th Anniversary Legacy Franchise Agreement
Open three Robeks locations with a discounted multi-unit franchise fee structure.
One founder.
One frustration.
One big idea.
In 1996, Los Angeles founder David Robertson was living the busy, active California lifestyle — and couldn’t find a single thing to fuel it. He wanted food that was genuinely healthy, nutrient-dense, and great-tasting — made fresh right in front of him and served fast enough to keep up with his day.
It didn’t exist. So he built it. Robeks opened as the original Southern California juice bar, founded on three promises that still define every cup we hand across the counter.
Great Taste
Indulgent flavor first — the #1 driver of the return visit.
Good Health
Real, whole ingredients. No artificial anything. Ever.
Transparency
Made fresh, in front of you — nothing to hide.
We perfected the model before we shared it.
Robeks didn’t rush to franchise. For its first five years, the company developed, owned, and operated 30 corporate locations — using that time to perfect proprietary recipes and a world-class, repeatable operating system.
When franchising began in 2001, those original corporate stores were sold to independent operators so the corporate team could pour 100% of its energy into one thing: franchisee success.

Three Decades of Product Innovation
Robeks has been in front of nearly every major nutritional trend before it had a name. Product innovation isn’t a campaign here — it’s who we’ve been since 1996.
1996: Açaí bowls, before America knew the word
When açaí bowls didn't exist on American menus, Robeks launched with them — and sparked a culture of product innovation that still runs through everything we do.

1996: A true fresh-squeezed juice bar
A full raw juice bar and made-to-order smoothies built on whole fruit and real ingredients — fresh nutrition served fast, long before “fast-casual wellness” was a category.
Early 2000s: Green smoothies with spinach & kale
Robeks put leafy greens in the blender years before “drink your vegetables” became a wellness mantra — making nutrient-dense greens crave-able and mainstream.

2000s: Greek yogurt smoothies
One of the first to bring high-protein Greek yogurt smoothies to a national menu — ahead of the protein-forward wave that now defines the category.
2010s: Wellness shots & superfood boosts
Proprietary functional add-ons — Heart Beet, electrolytes, recovery and immunity boosts — turning every order into personalized, purposeful nutrition.

2010s-2020s: Artisan toasts on signature sourdough
Expanding beyond the blender into breakfast and lunch — growing average tickets and giving guests more reasons to visit, more often.
2025: Harmonious Bites — warm, craveable handhelds
A lineup of warm handhelds engineered for the lunch and afternoon daypart. Early market tests delivered outstanding repeat-purchase results — proof the innovation engine is still running.

Six Revenue Streams.
One Radically Simple Kitchen.
Every innovation since 1996 now works together inside one simple, no-fryer, no-grill operation.

Smoothies
Blended-to-order smoothies anchor the Robeks menu with Classic, Superfood, Wellness, Performance, and Açaí varieties.
Fresh Juices
A full raw juice bar offers fresh, nutrient-dense choices prepared right in front of guests.
Açaí & Superfood Bowls
High-ticket fan favorites that drive repeat visits and strong average tickets.
Artisan Toasts
Signature sourdough that expands into new dayparts and grows ticket size.
Harmonious Bites
Warm handhelds launched 2025 with outstanding early repeat-purchase data.
Wellness Shots & Boosts
Proprietary Heart Beet, electrolyte & recovery formulas — pure upsell revenue.
We didn't build this brand to sell it. We built it because we believed in it.
Robeks is led by operators, not detached private-equity managers. Founder David Robertson guides as board chair, and the people leading the brand are the same people who have run Robeks stores and regions in the real world. When everyone — board, leadership, and longtime franchisees — has been here for decades, that’s not tenure. That’s conviction.
Years; founder David Robertson still leads as Board Chair
Years of executive experience inside the Robeks system
Franchisees who've owned their stores for over 20 years
Private-equity control. No corporate debt. No exit agenda.

WALK IN. WALK OUT. FEEL ALIVE.
At Robeks Happiness is a flavor, so our mission is simple: Create delicious food that makes people happy.
Our brand promise shapes every guest interaction. While our competitors focus on clinical charts or health lectures to make guests feel informed, we design our entire experience to make people feel alive.
- Walk In — The color, the sound, the sense that something good is being made for you right now.
- Walk Out — Cup in hand, a genuine lift in your day — and a reason to think about your next visit.
- Feel Alive — Others want you to feel informed. Robeks wants you to feel alive.
Meet Harmony, the Soul of Robeks
Named by fans in 2011, Harmony the Hummingbird has been our beacon since the doors opened in 1996. A hummingbird seeks out only the finest nectar — just as Robeks chooses only the finest ingredients.
She embodies the promise behind every product we’ve ever launched: that flavor, genuine health, and strong unit economics can coexist in perfect harmony. Flavor. Health. Profitability. In Harmony.
